There is no news of suspected rifts between A-list singers Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid, a situation that has been resolved by the DMW manager.
During the following phase of his Black Box Interview with Ebuka Obiuchendu, Davido
revealed that since the way back, he and Wizkid have been friendly, adding that he was motivated by the star boy as a young artist.
The “Fem” singer, saying that he has always loved Wizkid and sees him as a brother, said
the suspected rift with him possibly occurred when they began to see each other as competitors.
“The first time I saw Wizkid was when he was invited for our Christmas party sometime in the past.
We gradually got to know each other because I was motivated to do music because of him.
“At that time we were really cool friends and I also featured him in one of mt songs, ‘Dami Duro’.
I think the little misunderstanding or silent beef between us started when my music started to make waves in the industry too.
“I can’t say it’s from my own end because I have always maintained the fact that I love Wizkid and he is like a brother to me.
“I just feel he saw me as a competitor and that was it. But I love Wizkid, it has always been real love from my end,” he stated.
Davido said he was still a big fan of the self-proclaimed African Giant in his alleged rift with Burna Boy, but they haven’t been friendly for a while.
Based on Davido, when he posted a picture of himself and Wizkid and identified both of
them as the greatest of all time, things got worse, but Burna Boy responded by outlining Adedeji Adeleke, his dad.

Earlier, Flashywsap announced that Burna Boy shaded Davido’s claim in response, stating
“you cannot play football, everybody knows you cannot play football and you are an embarrassment to the team But your daddy bought the football team.”
Davido added, still speaking during the interview, “Now you are angry that I posted me and Wizkid, right? But you are with Wizkid in London every day”
Question aroused from Ebuka, Do you think they’re competing with you?
Davido responded; “Brother, it’s clear, let’s not be fake. That joining P together, that shit lame bro, that shit wack I can’t even lie. Joining to come and, what are you planning?
We are all here, we are trying to take this music higher. Nobody will gang up against me,
nobody for this Nigeria industry weh go gang up against me weh go work. Cos I don’t have a bad heart to anybody. I can’t lie, it hurts me sometimes” he stated.
Davido rejected it, but accepted that a line where he said “Tell Odogwu to call me” was
directed at the “Ye” singer, based on the inspiration behind his newly released single, Fem, where he was believed to be deriding Burna Boy and Wizkid.
