MTN has recently launched its Innovation subscriber authentication Modules (eSIM cards),
allowing customers to use the MTN line without using sim cards on their eSIM portable devices.
By registering rather than buying an MTN sim, the new evolution in SIM cards would allow customers to access their smartphones.
The MTN eSIM will be on for one year after the approval of the Nigerian Communications Commission ( NCC) for the eSIM trial by the network provider.
To give them more liberty and versatility, the eSIM is already integrated into some smartphones.
MTN Nigeria is only the first smartphone-embedded networking firm to use the innovation.
Mazen Mroue, MTN Nigeria’s chief technology officer, stated: “Customers depend on us to provide high quality, reliable and easy-to-use connectivity solutions.
With the introduction of the eSIM, we will offer customers a seamless and distinctive digital experience with new levels of flexibility, simplicity and convenience”

MTN Nigeria in a declaration stated that: “SIMs does everything a SIM card does and more.” Adding in a separate statement that,
“You simply activate the eSIM with your account profile and you are ready to enjoy all the services you normally would with a physical SIM.”
Portable phones: Apple iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, iPhone XS, XS Max, iPhone XR, Samsung S20 Series, Google Pixel 3 , 3 XL, Pixel 4, 4 XL.
- E-SIMs allow you to have your smart device connected with more than one phone number. They are especially helpful to individuals who want personal and business lines to be handled.
- For regular travelers, it is incredibly convenient, making it possible to swap between network operators.
- You no longer have to deal with cutting SIM cards or finding adapters.
- Since it is built into your system, the risk of losing or destroying your SIM is minimized
You’ll have to contact MTN stores near you to enable the eSIM, note that.
