Four schools across the three senatorial zones in the state have been converted into schools for children with special needs by the Gombe State Government.

The state Commissioner for Education, Dr Habu Dahiru mentioned this during a briefing.

He stated that the schools’ conversion would provide an opportunity for proper use of available teachers as well as to create a platform for students in special schools to compete with their counterparts across the country.
